Irida Rooms is a family run business, category 3 keys, that can offer you a relaxing vacation in its full equipped apartments.

The business Irida Rooms consists of two spacious rooms on the ground floor and is surrounded by a wonderful garden.

It is only 50 meters from the sea and a fully organized beach, which is awarded with 2 blue flags.

Every room is equipped with: kitchen, fridge, air condition, TV, free fast wi-fi internet, private balconies, mosquito screens on doors and windows, personal care items, extensive cleaning.

Leptokarya & Sights

Capital of the Municipality of Dion - Olympus, Leptokarya with 4225 citizens has many natural beauties, big coast line with a lot of hotels and stores. Crystal clear water and history that reaches the ancient Greeks. A visitor can see the cave (Antro), where according to mythology is where Orfeas was born as well as the city of the Muses.

Hotel units (the largest in Pieria), shops, leisure and entertainment areas, taverns and cafes on the one hand, the coast, Mount Olympus, ancient finds, cultural events and festivals on the other, combine on vacation fun with the entertainment, the comfortable stay with the necessary amenities, in the land of Mysti Orpheus and Pieria of the 21st century.

Olympus Mountain

From Homer’s time right up to the present day poets and artists have not ceased to sing the praises of Mount Olympus, and the simple fact that the representatives of a great historical civilization such as Greek civilization imagined Olympus as the home of their gods is indicative of the awe that this mountainous massif provokes. It is not impressive only for its height with the peak Mystics reaching 2.918 meters but also for its short distance from the sea. It truly dominates the landscape with its many different aspects. Each trip to Olympus evokes different feelings because the mountain has many faces to show its visitors.

On the slopes of Olympus, a mere 5 km from the beaches of Pieria, Ancient Dion, the Holy City of Macedonia was found under a covering of undergrowth and water. This city had been a thriving centre of civilization from the time of its foundation for a period of 1,000 years from the 5th c, BC to the 5th c, AD.

Platamon Castle

The Castle of Platamon on the southeastern slopes of Olympus. The castle was originally built by the Byzantines and was reworked by the Franks at the beginning of the 13th century. Today it has been restored and hosts concerts and other cultural events.

Livithra

It is also worth visiting the old village of St. Panteleimonas, Platamon, Litohoro, and to go hiking on Mt Olympus.

Agios Dionysios Monastery

The Monastery of Agios Dionysios in Olympus is a Greek Orthodox monastery on the slopes of Mount Olympus, the most important monastery in the Pieria Prefecture. It is located at the Enipeas ravine at an altitude of 850 m. The original monastery was established in 1542, was destroyed by the Germans in 1943. A new monastery was established at a distance of some 5 km to the northeast of the old one, closer to the town of Litochoro.

Kanalon Monastery

The convent is located at the road connecting Leptokarya with Karya, above the river Ziliana. The distance to Leptokarya is about 18 km, the distance (air line) to the ancient Leivithra is about 7 km. The monastery is permanently inhabited by nuns. The renovation work has been largely completed and the paintings in the chapel of Saint Dimitrios are to be restored.

Vergina

Thessaloniki

Meteora

The Meteora literally "middle of the sky", "suspended in the air" or "in the heavens above" — etymologically related to meteorology) - is a formation of immense monolithic pillars and hills-like huge rounded boulders which dominate the local area.
It is also associated with one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece, second in importance only to Mount Athos.
